Led by Ali Wagner, this initiative is shaped by her own lived experience and informed by extensive focus groups with Disabled ravers, nightlife promoters, club owners, and staff.
These conversations are at the heart of Dancefloor Intimacy's approach. By listening to everyone across the nightlife ecosystem, we can advocate for changes that are practical, financially realistic, and socially inclusive - so that meaningful progress actually happens.
Ali has developed a range of practical, research-based training sessions specifically for staff, security teams, event organisers, as well as teams of staff in general.
The workshops equips your team with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to improve accessibility, inclusion, and safety at your venue.

Collaborating with your team to create and action a long-term accessibility plan.
We also offer a bespoke training option, fully tailored to your team and space.
Before the session, we'll connect with your team to identify knowledge gaps and specific areas you'd like to focus on. We'll also carry out a site visit to get a clear understanding of your space and how it's structured.
The workshop then explores practical solutions to the barriers faced by Disabled, Neurodivergent, Deaf, and chronically ill individuals — specifically within the context of your business or workplace. From there, we can help your team build a customised accessibility roadmap that's realistic and actionable.
If you want to go the step further, we can also arrange and host focus groups with customers of yours, or send out a detailed questionnaire to gather feedback from your community on how you can improve your space/business' accessibility.
